Hi, guys! I’m Ungyu, the Editor in Chief, Advice Columnist who runs a multilingual international independent magazine <GOTENSION> Based in Seoul, Korea. Bachelor of Arts in Department of Cinema Studies at Korea National University of Arts.
I’ve been teaching Korean in English to people from all over the world since 2016. Most of all, I’m such a traveler, so I’ve visited around over 30 countries so far, exploring the whole world and cultural differences. I’ve also made a counseling book and a travel documentary movie for international film festivals.
Hongdae is one of the coolest areas in all of Asia these days. I strongly believe that this tour program is the smartest way to look around the natural park area of Hongdae for a short time. We meet up at Hongik University station and go around the whole park with learning Korean. Sounds fun!
I explain the location, history about the landmarks here, and teach you some important surviving Korean expressions with the high-end microphone amplifier for the articulation most of all. It’s like an innovative walking tour version of Talk To Me In Korean. Let’s get out of a stuffy classroom and walk around the lively places together.
In case of rain, we will dive into the nearest cafe and study there with a cup of coffee or tea. Teatime!
